Age five, reading aloud to a captive audience
Aurelia is available to talk to your organization about everything from the history of roses and the basics of organic gardening to the best kinds of books for children and the intersection of obsession and health.

She's also been pondering the value of fantasy - or plain old making stuff up - in getting through the day. Is it healthier to tell yourself the truth no matter what? When is a little bit of self-deception a good thing? Talks on this topic are forthcoming.

In addition, Aurelia conducts workshops on gardening, garden writing, and the art of the personal essay.
